Thunderstorm

July 2, 2009

There is something about thunderstorms that makes everything seem so surreal to me. In this whole big world, you are just one person. One person upon millions upon millions upon millions of others put on this earth to do something. Sometimes I think “why would we do anything?” Why would we worry about paying bills, going to school, buying a house? I mean after all, we die in the end. After all is said and done, is it really worth it? Are the everyday hassles like cleaning the house, and driving to work necessary? In the end we are all going to be broke, crippled, and alone anyway. Sometimes I think that we were put on this earth to make advances, such as adding to the world’s knowledge, making inventions, providing easier ways of doing things. However, as those beliefs may hold true, I mostly believe that we were put on this earth to help the earth. To help it evolve just like we have, not to uselessly die or making technological advances. I think we are put on the earth to save the earth, to enjoy it, because paying the bills for the house your sitting in right now wouldn’t be necessary if earth wasn’t here to house us. We wouldn’t look at a thunderstorm the same if we didn’t know a rainbow was coming.

A wrong decision is something you do caused by ignoring that little voice inside your head that’s screaming at you, “Don’t eat that chocolate donut fool! It will all go to your hips!” or “Don’t kiss him! ...

They have made me a wiser, stronger, and more independent person. I’ve learned who I am, who I want to become, what I want to leave behind, where I want to go, and who I can depend one (which is nobody but me). I want t...
